Two female CCP employees are clearly shown throwing LulzSec "gang signs" in CCP's Fearless newsletter. Page 12, at the bottom, check it.

Also, CCP's monocle and LulzSec's monocle... coincidence? This is just like when the founding fathers put the Illuminati symbol on the dollar bill! LulzSec is putting proof of their diabolical infiltration of CCP right out in the open for anyone with eyes (or an eye and a monocle) to see!

You need to take this more seriously. This discovery explains EVERYTHING. Massively is planning an article on this very story as we speak, they're just verifying that the two girls making the LulzSec sign in Fearless are actually employees of CCP.
Think about it a Sec... Everything was going okay until LulzSec hacked the Eve servers. Suddenly...MONOCLES. And all hell breaks loose. The damage they have managed to wreak through social engineering CCP Zulu far exceeds any of their previous accomplishments. They're going to bring down the best MMO on the net, for the Lulz.

They are OBVIOUSLY representing LulzSec in Fearless.
PROOF:
(...and they're hot.)

Originally by: Merlin Sorca Actually, CCP had planned monocles and vanity items before the incident with LulzSec.
Proof?

Originally by: Merlin Sorca I thought this was common knowledge already, but since you seem serious here it is. The EVE servers were taken down on June 14. This devblog was May 27.
Can you explain why 2 CCP employees (...and they're hot) are appearing in the May issue of Fearless clearly posing like the LulzSec logo? If they were just doing a monocle, I could understand it. But the moustache...and they're even doing the pouty lips thing, just like in the logo, c'mon!
Explain to me...
EXPLAIN TO ME!!!
Why are the hot chicks posing like the LulzSec logo in the MAY issue of CCP's newsletter when LulzSec didn't hit Eve's servers until June 14?

Okay honestly, I started it as a joke but ... it IS kinda weird when you think about. At the very least it's ironic.
1) CCP publishes May issue of Fearless with a pic of 2 girls making the LulzSec logo "funny faces". 2) LulzSec DDOS's Eve. 3) CCP employee leaks copy of Fearless with the LulzSec pic. 4) This leak, the infamous "monocle", the email leak, and CCP's reaction cause chaos, triggering an emergency CSM meeting.
I'd love to hear from the girls in the pic exactly why they were posing like the LulzSec logo. I'm genuinely curious now that someone else bothered to check the timeline.

ccp had a great many lulz while watching the resulting butthurt & rage amongst eve players.
That wouldn't make sense. When the pic was published, the attack on Eve hadn't happened yet. It's possible that the pic was taken shortly after LulzSec began attacking other sites though. They had been active a couple weeks before the newsletter went out, so there was time. So maybe the girls were having a laugh at OTHER people's expense, and then it ended up not being so funny when the DDOS was turned against CCP? *Shrug* I honestly don't know, but would like to.
Either way, hawt girls are hawt, and the mystery remains. *bump* if you think they're hot or the question is interesting.

Does anyone have any idea who the girls are in the pic? Not talking about real names, but, just in context such as "CCP employees" or "LulzSec groupies"?

None of what you said addresses the whole point of this thread, which is to explain the strangeness explained above. Namely, two cute girls appear to be making "LulzSec faces" at the camera for the Fearless newsletter before LulzSec DDOS'd Eve. Why would they do that? Speculation welcome...
Anyway yeah, stop using this thread to droll on about MT issues. It's not about that.
